I spent all day baking and watching Christmas movies! It was great. I think I baked over 15 dozen cookies and dipped tons of pretzels in white almond bark. Ok maybe not tons but it felt like it. Today was my friend A and I’s annual cookie swap and as usual we went over board.
We really don’t have many people we give cookies to but we always manage to have enough for 20 trays. This years list: strawberry, devils food and yellow cake cookies, sugar cookies, chocolate chip snowballs, reindeer sugar cookies, white almond bark covered pretzels, Santa hat pretzels, chocolate covered peanut butter pretzel nuggets, candied pecans, and old fashion chocolate cookies.
All kinds of good stuff today.
Between being at the school and getting ready for Christmas I haven’t had much time to craft. However, I have got to take some fun crafts to school to do with my son in his class. Last week we made wreaths out of paper plates. We colored them green and I had Pom Poms, foam stickers, bows and flowers for them to decorate with and boy did they decorate! This week I took in shaving cream, glue, and felt. I love Pinterest. This is my favorite Pinterest craft so far. Mixing shaving cream and glue and painting “snow”. It dries puffy and its so pretty.
The kids loved it! It was fun watching the different ways they decorated the wreaths and the differences between the snowmen.
A few weekends ago I went to an Ugly Sweater Party. Here’s the pics
It was a lot of fun and I can’t wait to see what everyone wears next year!
Hope y’all have a great evening!
